Memories disappearing, washed away by rain
Is my dream to feel the sun’s light just in vain?
A single yellow flower reminds me of warmth and heat
When I ran outside and danced to summer’s beat
Now there is only the white-gray sky above
A whole world written like a song without love

In each rain drop running across the glass
Glitters the reflection of captured light, like stars of distant past
Holding onto hope of a better tomorrow.
